Pido disculpas por cambiar el sentido de la obra de Hokusai donde la naturaleza tiene su legítimo protagonismo. Aquí, sigue siendo protagonista, pero de una manera más sutil, ayudándome a expresar la estupidez del ser humano que cree estar por encima de las fuerzas de la naturaleza.

Hay otro mensaje que va dirigido a la indecisión, la gran ola de Hokusai está duplicada en tonos verdes: el no decidir ya es una elección, las olas chocarán. La soberbia no nos permite ver dónde nos encontramos.

Este collage llevaba a medias mucho tiempo, no encontraba unos ojos que le dieran algo de carácter, así que empecé otros collages y fue quedando en el olvido.

I apologize for changing the meaning of Hokusai’s work where nature has its rightful role. Here, it is still the protagonist, but in a more subtle way, helping me to express the stupidity of the human being who believes he is above forces of nature.

There is another message that is aimed at indecision, the great wave of Hokusai is duplicated in green tones: not deciding is already a choice, the waves will collide. Pride does not allow us to see where we are.

This collage had been halfway for a long time, I couldn’t find eyes that would give it some character, so I started other collages and it was forgotten.
